Our Story

A Legacy of Excellence Since 2000

Heritage Heights Academy was founded by Chief (Mrs.) Folashade Adebayo, a visionary educator who believed that every Nigerian child deserves access to world-class education. What began with just 45 students in a rented bungalow in Ikeja has grown into one of Lagos State's most prestigious private schools.

Over the past 25 years, we have expanded to an 8-acre purpose-built campus with state-of-the-art facilities, serving over 2,500 students from Creche through Secondary School. Our alumni have gone on to excel at top universities in Nigeria, the UK, the US, and Canada.

In 2023, Heritage Heights was recognized by the Lagos State Ministry of Education as a Centre of Educational Excellence for our consistent academic performance and innovative teaching methodologies.

2000 — Founded

Heritage Heights opens its doors with 45 students and 8 teachers in Ikeja.

2006 — First Campus

Acquired 8-acre land in GRA Ikeja and began construction of the permanent campus.

2012 — First WAEC Batch

Our pioneer secondary school students sat WAEC with 94% credit passes in all subjects.

2018 — Tech Integration

Launched smart classrooms and 1:1 device programme for all secondary students.

2023 — Award of Excellence

Recognized as a Centre of Educational Excellence by Lagos State Ministry of Education.

2026 — Growing Strong

2,500+ students, 180+ teachers, and a growing alumni network making impact globally.
